It was a perfect night for a hunt. The night air carried a slight chill under the full moon, with barely a handful of wispy clouds to interrupt the starlight. The nightly noises echoed with an eerie beauty. The hoots of owls, and the songs of larks and ravens echoed in the trees. These with the chirps of crickets created a midnight symphony masked the soft footfalls of a hunter with a feminine silhouette as she crept though the woods for a good spot to conceal herself. The stalker got into position under by a dead tree this chilly autumn night. She overlooked a clearing and a creek to mask any scents and give a long, yet concealed lines of sight. A leaf pendant tied the green cloak around her neck securely and an identical leaf emblem made up her shoe buckles. Long, blonde hair tied into two braids flowed from under the cloak’s hood.
